I am available for both solo and ensemble work for a range of events from concerts to weddings, parties and functions, and I am able to play a broad range of genres including (but not limited to) classical, jazz and pop.
I also have experience working as a choir accompanist, playing keys in musical theatre productions, and accompanying graded music exams.
I have a passion for a wide variety of music, and it was this that led me to set up The Olive Collective, an ensemble characterised by a love of exploration and of fusing together multiple musical styles – including classical, jazz, folk and world music. As a group, we love to explore the unique soundworlds our combination of instruments (piano, cello and oboe/cor anglais) can create together, sometimes incorporating extended techniques and improvisation into our performances.
While I love solo piano, I’m never having more fun than when I’m collaborating with other musicians. I also have experience and enjoy working with composers on new pieces.
